Cette chanson sera publiée pour la première fois le 03 mars 1978 par le Patti Smith Group sur l'album Easter, un disque produit par Jimmi Iovine, ingénieur du son de Bruce Springsteen sur Darkness On The Edge Of Town. Elle sera jouée live par Patti Smith pour la première fois le 30 décembre 1977 (avec Bruce Springsteen en invité) sur la scène du CBGB Theater à New York et sortira en single le 19 avril 1978.
